  4. Explanation of historians: teaching you morality, teaching you to refine elixirs and become immortals, is cultivation. This is a type of people who are converted or transcended by historical figures. There is no way, history is a morality in their eyes.
  5. Explanation by educators: Cultivation is to be a good person and do good things. This kind of statement accounts for a large proportion, and generally links time with growth, and then attainment of the Tao. In the eyes of educators, cultivation is a comprehensive evaluation of a person's character.

What is the true meaning of cultivation?

  1. Cultivation is a word composed of "cultivation" and "refining", and this group of words cannot be discussed together. It is essentially a double meaning.
  2. The word "cultivation" mentioned by Xuanmen Xiangzong or more religions has never been a single complete word.
  3. Cultivation is to decorate your inner and outer self, which is the fundamental.
    Cultivation means to see more, think more, read more, listen more, and move more. The purpose is to enrich your brain with your knowledge and let your actions enrich your appearance.
    The so-called etiquette cultivation of temperament and virtue cultivation of the soul refers to decorating yourself inside and out, so that you can live a worthwhile life.
  4. Refining is not alchemy, nor is it accepting torture, nor is it picking suffering to improve willpower. Refining is to refine, refine the knowledge and behavioral experience gained from cultivation, and summarize your own experience, skills, wisdom, etc. It can be used to spread to more people for use, and you can get actual spiritual or material gains from it. This is refining.
  5. The essence of cultivation is to cultivate first and then practice. It is not a closed-door retreat, nor is it a single-minded one. The difference is that some people have succeeded in cultivation, such as some politicians, cultural celebrities, economic tycoons, etc. They do not belong to Taoism or Buddhism, but it does not mean that their lives are not considered cultivation.
  2. Cultivation is like each of us learning to drive. Cultivation means getting familiar with all the structures of the vehicle. Refining means slowly finding the feeling of driving. After this process, some people summarize well, and the quality of their driving is very high. Some people summarize poorly, and the quality of their driving is average or even very poor.
  3. There are many other words related to cultivation, such as: running-in, habit, practice, tempering, shaping, etc. Cultivation is actually a group of neutral words, not just pointing to good people, good deeds, good intentions, and good virtues. In the world where life is precious and death is evil, cultivation belongs to the growth experience and professional direction of anyone. Bad people are also cultivating their bad skills.

What are the benefits of practicing Xuanmen Xiangzong?

Overview

In the entire Taoist system, the benefits of practicing Taoism are never avoided. Taoism's being a person, being the world, and being immortal all express many truths and true needs in the hearts of the people in a very direct and clear way, that is, the rigid needs of being a person.

Taoism is very exclusive of hypocritical sects. Therefore, in the coordination between people and society, it is more willing to organically combine human nature with social existentialism. Responding to requests, avenging enemies, making profits, and fighting against dissatisfaction are all the greatest foundations of faith that Taoism has given to the world.

Xuanmen Taoism is a sect that is closer to human nature in the overall Taoist system. Even Xuanmen can be traced back to the true origin of Taoism, and it can be regarded as the original doctrine belief sect in Taoism.

In the belief structure of Xuanmen Taoism, if a belief does not bring benefits to people, then this belief is basically determined to be a gang of liars.
